On their own, these pieces are those basic guys that sit in the bottom of your dresser, waiting for you to come up with an exciting outfit to pair them with. Well this, my friends, is that outfit. I love the subtle yet sweet combination of the stripes and flowers, and the skinny belt at the waist really pulls the look together. I like the casual feel of the gladiators, but you could use any shoe you want. The cute ring is a nice touch (and is a steal at only $10!), and the deep blue nail polish is an unexpected accent to this outfit.

I'm a hopeless vintage addict. Thrift stores are essentially my second home. I know this outfit might be a bit vintage for some of you, but when I saw this dress, I honestly could not resist. I chose two shoes because I know not everyone likes the look of oxfords with dresses. However, I'm not crazy about the color of these flats, I'd probably do a black one. None the less, I love the muted gray color of this cardigan- it really pulls everything together. The rings add a touch of glam to this look, but you could easily play it up with another necklace.

Don't you guys wish I had better ways to start off these posts?

After all, they're all some form of me apologizing for not updating my blog.

High school is tough, haha. I digress.

Let's kill off those February blues with some Modcloth therapy.

New Pet Plant Top -$30

Can we just talk about how perfect this top is? The pattern on this is so cute and it just works. Plain and simple. I'm admittedly not a jeans person, but come on now: imagine this with some dark was skinny jeans and oxfords. I rest my case.

Attic Apartment Tunic- $50

I'm not going to force this masterpiece on you. You either love it, or you hate it. Personally, I'm obsessed with this. Depending on it's length, I'd probably wear it with tights and flats or oxfords...ahh. This reminds me of one of those unique little things you'd find thrifting. So out of the ordinary.

Fountain Fixture Dress- $50

Would you just look at this badboy? I hate buying formal dresses in stores because I feel like none of them are unique, but this? This is in a class of its own! The cascading ruffle down the side is an elegant yet bold statement, and I've never seen anything like this before. All you really need is maybe some dangly earrings or a statement ring. *drools slowly*

And as much as I'd love to continue this Modcloth lust, I have some ellipses that ache to be graphed. Ew.
