dear polyvore,

i love you :)

today's theme: pop of color

(links for every item can be found by clicking on the set, which will take you to the polyvore site, where links are in the sidebar)

steal the look;
brown bomber jacket- $60 from delias
mustard yellow flats- $29.50 from american eagle outfitters
lace sequin cami- $7.50 at wet seal
antique wash artist jeans- $35 from american eagle outfitters
bib necklace- $68 from piperlime

This is the kind of outfit that you can wear almost anywhere. If you don't like the pop of color that the yellow shoes give, you can swap them out for almost any kind of shoe. The necklace helps to add a nice feminine touch to the macho-rocker-feel that you get from the bomber jacket.

steal the look:
navy and gray striped cardigan- $25 from heritage 1981 (f21)
reddish skinny jeans- $19.50 from delias
denim purse- $295 from piperlime
chained t'shirt- $13 from forever 21
embellished flats- $20 from forever 21.

It's official: I'm in love with these flats! If you wanted a more casualish theme, you could go with a cute graphic white tank top (there's one in a set I posted yesterday, I think, that would work well). The contrast between the red, gray, and blue make for an interesting look, and the neutral white t' underneath helps to tone it down.

steal the look:
red jersey cardigan- $17 at old navy
floral cami top- $35 at delias
cuffed destroyed jeans- $17 at wet seal
gray hobo bag- $35 at delias
silver bracelet set- $19 at wet seal

This look takes a mostly neutral color palette, and adds that pop of color with the red cardigan. You might think that you would never ever wear such a bold colored sweater, but you'd be surprised at some of the things in your wardrobe that it would go with. I didn't include shoes because I was strapped for time, but anything from a simple flat to a cute sandle would work.

any more ideas?
